Food Chaining
What is food chaining?
Food chaining is a way of introduce new foods while building on past successful eating experiences. This is typically done with foods that someone with ARFID has enjoyed or is classed as a "safe" food.
Here's an example
The image below shows the chaining of food, starting with french fries and ended in a loaded jacket potato.
How does it work?
The main idea is to expand the diet to allow a young adult to eat food, not all foods from the same category but from food groups based on the foods they enjoy the most.
